1. Prepare the look in WoW
Equip or apply the transmog you want to share. If you use the StyleBound addon, open it with /sb and copy the string from the Export tab. The export contains appearance, source, item, and available character fields—not the screenshot itself.
You can submit without an addon string by finding gear manually in each slot. The gear section is optional, but filling it makes the published outfit easier for another player to rebuild.

2. Import the addon string
Sign in, open Submit Outfit, paste the export string into “Import from Addon,” and select “Decode & Import.” StyleBound validates the format, maps the addon slots to website slots, and looks up matching appearances in its catalog.
Character name, realm, faction, class, race, and sex are filled when those values are present. The confirmation tells you how many slots matched. An unmatched slot is not silently invented; search for it manually or leave it empty.
3. Add screenshots
Upload at least one screenshot. The first image becomes the cover shown in gallery cards. The upload tool lets you crop each image before it is saved.
The addon can start a screenshot session, but the website cannot read files from your WoW installation. WoW saves them locally in World of Warcraft\_retail_\Screenshots; you choose and upload the files yourself.
4. Check the details players will see
Give the outfit a specific title. The description is optional; use it for context that the fields and screenshots do not convey. Character and game-mode fields feed the labels and filters on the published page.
Review imported gear rather than assuming every slot matched. StyleBound keeps the selected visual appearance and, when known, the source and item identifiers used by the addon.
5. Add discovery tags
Search existing tags before creating one. Tags describe concepts such as color, theme, or armor style that may not exist in item records. A new tag enters the community proposal flow rather than becoming an approved search page immediately.

6. Publish and review the result
Select “Submit Outfit.” A successful submission becomes public and opens its outfit page. Check the cover image, title, character labels, gear, and tags there. Owners can return through the outfit controls to edit screenshots, details, gear, or tags.
